Description
This is a 7 mile easy circular walk from the picturesque village of Prestbury.
Much of the walk follows the course of the River Bollin over farmland and there are impressive views of the Derbyshire hills. The terrain is mainly flat with a few short and gentle inclines. We will follow established paths, bridleways and tracks across open fields, some containing livestock.
It may be muddy in parts especially after recent rain, so boots are recommended.
We will stop for lunch en route but there will be no opportunity to buy refreshments at that point, so bring your own.
There is a pub in the village at the end of the walk.
