ANNUAL WEEKEND AWAY
This year our weekend away will be in Barmouth, mid Wales from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 June 2019.
We will get together for a drink as people arrive on Friday afternoon and evening. But for those who can make it, we will arrange a meet up at a National Trust property or similar attraction on the drive down to Barmouth.
Saturday will be our main day for walking, taking advantage of the coastal attractions of this part of Wales (and there may be a train ride to boot!). This weekend also sees the start of the Three Peaks Yacht Race from Barmouth. In the evening we will meet for our group meal.
On Sunday there will be a shorter walk giving the option of staying on for a late Sunday lunch together or making a prompt start to the return journey.
There are numerous B&B’s in Barmouth. Some group members will be staying at Endeavour, Crystal House, Ocean Drive and Min-Y-Mor.
This will be our 14th Weekend Away, always a popular and enjoyable event in the Out on Sunday calendar. Why not join us this year?
