Malcolm and John led today’s 5 mile walk which saw 18 walkers heading out from the start at Helmshore Mill on a circular route up onto Musbuy Tor. The steady climb to the top gave us views over the Rossendale Valley and, in the distance, Pendle Hill. We took our lunch in the ruins of a long abandoned cottage before returning to Helmshore and a welcome pint at the Robin Hood pub.
