A short and easy wintery walk in light snow from Edge Lane metro stop into the city centre. Passing through Clayton Vale Country Park and Philips Park and following the Ashton Canal towpath, the walk was almost entirely “off-road”. Some of the group ended the walk with a drink at Via on Canal St.
