Description

This is an easy, flat, approximately 5 miles circular walk, which starts and finishes in the grounds of Dunham Massey. After a circuit of the park we will head down a country lane which leads to the River Bollin and from there onto a short stretch of the Leeds-Liverpool canal. We return to Dunham Massey via the village of Dunham.

Certain parts of the walk may be muddy, so sturdy boots/shoes are recommended.

There will be a short stop for lunch along the canal towpath. There are two cafes in Dunham Massey and a delightful teashop at a farm near the end of the walk.
