Description
A scenic six mile walk through the Cheshire farmland and along the river Dee which join the two estate villages of the Duke of Westminster.
A few stiles, steps and one hill into Aldford village along the way.
Walking shoes advisable.
Start Point and Time
Opposite the Saint Mary’s Church in Eccleston Village at 12 noon

Directions to Start
By car from the M56 Leave at Junction sign posted M53 Chester / Wrexham.
After approx 4 miles take junction sign posted A483 Wrexham. Stay in the left hand lane and pass through one set of traffic lights, almost immediately, take left junction sign posted Pulford.
After 100 yards take the left turn sign posted Eccleston. Follow this road into the Village and park next to church.
Unfortunately, public transport is not available to get to the starting point.
