Walk leaders : Stephen M & Cliff B
Grading of walk : Easy
Walk details : This is an easy but delightful walk beginning at the windmill in Lytham. We will be walking along the well-maintained coastal path which takes in some impressive views across the River Ribble estuary and the Irish Sea. Initially the path is hard surfaced but this gives way to a gravel path at Fairhaven where we join the beach path. We carry on along this stretch until we reach the pier at St Annes. This is where we will stop for our refreshments. There are several places where food may be purchased and also plenty of public seating for those bringing their own food. After lunch we will retrace our steps back to the walk’s start.
