Hi everyone – Tracey here from Arctic Bee 👋
I just wanted to share a quick but really important bit of guidance for all Out on Sunday members around password security and helping us keep the website safe for everyone.

First and most importantly – please only ever share passwords via WhatsApp, as this is end-to-end encrypted.
Please don’t send passwords by email (even if it feels quicker), as email is far easier to intercept and forward on accidentally.

It’s also really important that you don’t reuse the same password across different logins. Your website login, email, social media and especially anything linked to banking or payments should all be separate. If one account is ever compromised, reusing passwords is one of the easiest ways attackers gain access to everything else.

When creating a password, always make sure it includes:

This massively increases how hard it is for automated tools to guess your login.

To make this easier (and so you don’t have to remember lots of complex passwords), we recommend using a password manager. A good free option is Dashlane, which lets you safely store and generate strong passwords and access them securely across your devices. You can download it directly from the web.

Please help us keep the Out on Sunday website secure by following this guidance – it genuinely makes a big difference.

If you have any questions or concerns at all, just pop a message in the WhatsApp group and get in touch with me there.
