A walk in Tolkein Country led by Dave H. After setting off from Hurst Green the walk passed through the grounds of Stoneyhurst College and continued along the Ribble Valley taking in the confluence of the rivers Ribble, Hodder and Calder with great views of Pendle Hill. The seven mile walk concluded at its start point where the group enjoyed a beer in the garden of the local pub, the Shireburn Arms.
