Colin and Cliff were our leaders for this very enjoyable circular walk through the Cheshire countryside just south of Congleton. Despite the dire weather forecast, 22 walkers turned up and after a damp start were rewarded with blue skies and even some sunshine. From Little Moreton Hall we made our way via the Macclesfield Canal towpath; country tracks and paths to Astbury village where we stopped for our lunch break before returning to the car park at the hall.
