A 7.4 miles urban walk starting at Manchester Cathedral, crossing the Irwell over the Victoria footbridge, Greengate Square and Trinity Way, we traced the riverside footpath to Peel Park. 

On to Kersal Wetlands, once the site of Manchester Racecourse, returning along the river, back to Peel Park.
