Walk details :
This is a 6.4 mile walk from The Ridgeway to Manley Common, a section of the Sandstone Trail, just west of Frodsham. The walk is along well used paths and country lanes. The paths are rough and uneven in places and for this reason the walk is classed a being of moderate difficulty.
The walk takes us from The Ridgeway through or skirting wooded hills to the west of Frodsham. The route gives views out towards Queensferry and the Clwydian Hills and also across to Liverpool.
There are no cafes or pubs on route, so please bring refreshments and water. If time allows, we may visit The Bear’s Paw in Frodsham at the end of the walk: https://www.greeneking-pubs.co.uk/pubs/cheshire/bears-paw/
