Patrick led yet another smashing walk, this time the Marple circular taking in part of Marple Bridge, the Roman Lakes and a section of the Upper High Peak Canal. At the lunch stop at the Roman Lakes, the group was entertained by the Parkulele band and their rendition of Ewan McColl’s “Manchester Rambler” – very appropriate!
