Description
A 5 mile walk with very varied scenery: Redisher Wood nature reserve, over unimproved grassland to Moorbottom Road and bridleway to Red Brook and Lark Hill.
The walk involves a 2 miles gentle ascent to Lark Hill with one short steeper section en route. It is on paths, fields and tracks which will inevitably be muddy; walking boots essential.
No refreshments except at the finish so bring a packed lunch.
The Hare and Hounds at the start/finish serves food all day. There is also Hoysters wine bar.
