Description
This is a steepish in parts 4.5/5 mile uphill walk through the Terrace Gardens. We will go at a leisurely pace to the summit of Rivington Pike with great views from the top. Stout shoes or walking boots are recommended as it can be muddy depending on weather conditions and there are a large number of steps in the gardens.
We will stop near the Japanese garden lake, so bring a packed lunch. There are two pubs near the walk’s end.

The walk starts at 12noon from the car park to the rear of The Great House Barn (postcode BL6 7SB).
