Hello all
After a fair bit of emailing and discussion we are now confident that we are able to resume walks in line with the Government’s restrictions and particularly the exemption to the “Rule of 6” for organised groups such as Out on Sunday.
The continuation of the walks depends on us adopting and observing Covid-19 secure policies for the walks including having a Risk Assessment for each walk and keeping contact details for all walkers. The limit of 30 participants will still apply (walk leaders may sometimes set a lower limit). As before you will need to book a place on the walks, more details on the website : here
The next walk on Sunday 11 October will be at Tandle Hill Country Park and led by Patrick – there will be more detailed information (meeting point etc) on the website in the next few days.
Unfortunately, given the current situation we will not be able to meet for the customary festive meal at The Cosy Club but there are a further 8 walks planned details here before the end of the year and 3 “empty” slots. Should anyone fancy leading a walk please get in touch and help us catch up on all the summer walks we’ve missed this year!
We get some great walks in the Autumn months so don’t pack your boots away just yet!
