Out on Sunday celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and it would great if we could add some photos from 1998 to the OOS gallery – in particular the inaugural walk in Heaton Park in June 1998. Were you there? Do you have any pics? If you have photos of the Heaton Park walk or any of the early walks that you would be willing to share please send them in to general@outonsunday.co.uk
We are also hoping to create an ongoing photographic record of OOS walks for years to come and to remind us of the many happy (but not always sunny) Sunday afternoons spent plodding around the North West so please send in your photos and also any photos from any of the OOS weekends.
When submitting photos please make sure that you include as much information as possible, particularly where the photo was taken; the year and if possible the date or month. If you don’t have this info we will might include a special gallery and see who can put dates to them – a challenge!
It would be helpful if the file size could be kept below 1MB. Also, if anyone has any “pre-digital” photos (prints, negatives or slides – remember them??) there may be a chance to scan them at this year’s weekend in Coniston and possibly after one or two of the walks – we have the technology, so no excuses!
So – get searching – your photos are an important part of Out on Sunday’s glorious history!
