We have received the sad news that Russell passed away earlier this week.
Many of you will remember Russell who was a regular presence on our walks for several years. He was a great supporter of a number of gay groups and was truly deserving of the description ‘ a character’. He will be greatly missed, not least for his pearls of wit and wisdom.
Russell’s funeral is on Wednesday 21st March at 09:40am at Agecroft Cemetery, Salford. Unfortunately, we don’t have any further information to share with you.
