Description
The walk is approximately 11km (6.6M). The paths are mostly flat and surfaced; though there are some that can be muddy parts if there’s been rain. A mix of country park, waterway and woodland; with historical monuments and town centre refurbishment.
Start Point and Time
Meet 12 noon at the entrance to Bewsey Farm Close off Old Hall Drive – at the sign for The Maltings Pub. Park along Old Hall Drive, do not enter the Farm Close. Nearest post code is WA5 9PB.
Directions to Start
At J9 on the M62 take the A49 towards Warrington. Turn right at the first lights towards the Gemini retail park on to Cromwell Avenue (A574). At the sixth island turn left into Old Hall Drive.
