Description
This is a six mile circular walk that takes in parts of the Rochdale Canal and Tandle Hill Country Park (where we will take our lunch stop). It is a pleasant, scenic walk with a couple of gradual climbs. It may be muddy in one particular lane, so sturdy, waterproof shoes are recommended. A stop at the Rose of Lancaster pub or the Pavillion Cafe in Chadderton Park will be available at the end of the walk.
Start Point and Time
Mills Hill Station car park at 12.30pm
Directions to Start
The start point is on the A669, between Middleton and Chadderton, close by the Rose of Lancaster pub (OL1 2QT)
