Description

Tatton Park has become the traditional closing walk of our annual programme, and this year is no exception. It is an easy six mile walk through parkland and along established pathways. We begin at the Knutsford Entrance following a route alongside Beech Wood; then head for the Mansion where we will have our lunch break in the stables courtyard. There is a cafe at this point, though it is usually busy so expect queues. Our return route takes us along the eastern shore of Tatton Mere passing the location of the tree planted in memory of Derek Hurst. So we will be able to see how well it has grown since March.

The walk ends in Knutsford town centre where there are several pubs and cafes for post-walk refreshment.

We hope you will be able to join us.
