At our 2022 AGM held in January 2023 it was unanimously agreed that we should thank Rachel for her contribution to Out on Sunday. Back in 2016, Phil G wrote a specification for a website from which Rachel built our first site. Rachel went on to maintain the website until our new site came online earlier this year. It was fitting that Phil should have presented our Thank You gift to Rachel.

Dear OOS Team and Community Members
After 8 years of building and maintaining the OOS website, I would like to thank the OOS Team for their co-operation on content managing the site.
Last year, I highlighted the fact that the interface was getting old, clunky to use and probably that it was time for a fresh rebuild. I decided at that point to step down as the web person making it an ideal time for someone new to take on that task.
Firstly, Congratulations with your new site it looks FAB, Tracey has done a brilliant job and I hope the community of walkers get what they need from the information on board.
Secondly, I would like to thank the Team and community at OOS for the privilege of building, maintaining your website and wish the group many years of happy trips out together.
Finally, I would like to thank you all for the kind gesture of the gift voucher which I will put towards purchasing something for one of my many hobbies.
